Giving Back

We believe it is important for our cooperative to give back to the community because as a cooperative, our members and their communities are at the heart of everything we do. We do this in variety of ways including our gallons of gratitude program, scholarships, and donations to various groups and charities.

The Gallons of Gratitude program, which involves donating money for every gallon of fuel purchased at Tri-Energy Cooperative, has a significant positive impact on the community. The $250,000 yearly donation will go towards supporting local public schools, providing much-needed resources and assistance to those in need. By participating in this program, customers can feel good about their fuel purchases knowing that a portion is being donated to support their community. This not only benefits the recipients of the donations but also helps to build a stronger, more interconnected community as a whole, creating a sense of unity and shared purpose. Additionally, the program serves as an example of the power of collective action, showing how small contributions from many individuals can add up to make a big difference.

TRI-ENERGY COOPERATIVE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE NOW!!

Tri-Energy Cooperative is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality fuel and products. We are committed to serving central and southwest North Dakota communities by investing in education for the future of rural America. Tri-Energy Cooperative will be offering six (6) $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors and college students who are continuing their education. All applicants must be a patron member or their parent/guardian must be a patron member of Tri-Energy Cooperative. To qualify, you must have done at least $1,500 worth of business in the previous year (January—December 2024).
